Buy-to-let investment
A flat to rent out: the loan, the rental income the bank takes into account, and the impact on your borrowing capacity.

For a rental investment, the bank looks at your income, your existing loans and the expected rent, which it only counts in part. The file must show a coherent project.
What we look at together
- The share of the rent taken into account by the banks
- The duration and the deposit, depending on your other loans
- Buying in your own name or through a property company (SCI)
Documents to gather
The usual documents, your current loans, the rent estimate from an agent or the current lease if the flat is let.
Good to know
We do not give tax advice: for the rental tax regime, your accountant or notary is the right person.

A loan commits you and must be repaid. Check that you can afford the repayments before you commit.
